"I’m a city girl, living in a not so city-world, but my heart will always belong to New York. I tried the poor, non-profit, food-stamp, AmeriCorps lifestyle and it didn’t quite work out so well for me. So I started writing. To see where I could go, where I’ve been, and it never hurts to have your life in words. Also. This means I am now currently a transplanted New Yorker living in East Bay, California and trying to make sense of all these damn avocadoes in every freaking meal."
